MSFAA: what it means for students
Master Student Financial Assistance Agreement. What it means, who decides it and where to check the official source.

An MSFAA is the agreement a student signs with the government to receive Canada student loans; it is signed through the provincial aid portal.
In more detail
The Master Student Financial Assistance Agreement is a document that lets government student aid release funds under the federal loan program. It is signed once the aid application has been assessed and an offer made.
In practice it is a step inside a province's student aid process, such as OSAP, rather than a separate program. The portal will tell you when it is time to sign.
Read the agreement before signing, as it is a loan document with obligations. Ask the aid office, not a third party, if any part is unclear.
Who decides
Your province's student aid office, together with federal student aid, handles the agreement.
